Congratulations to Coach Jason Foley and the Maroons of North Pulaski Middle School on winning the First Annual KMSFA 7 on 7 held at the University of Louisville. They were able to hold off a tough squad from Lone Oak Middle School to win in the finals held in Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium. The final 4 teams were North Pulaski, Lone Oak, LexCath, and Oldham County.
A HUGE thank you to U of L (Coach Strong, Coack Carter and Coach Bedford) for providing the Trager Center and Papa Johns Stadium and to all of the many volunteers who gave of their time and talent to make the event possible.
Special recognition needs to go to Coach Dan Seum from Farnsley Middle who went over and above to make this event happen, together with high school players from PRP and Lexington Catholic who volunteered their time to help.
Also thank you to Coach Jamie Howell from Adams Middle in Floyd County for driving down to assist. Its dedication like this from our coaches that makes the KMSFA so special.
Results of the Combine and Lineman Challenge will be posted on both the Listserv and the KYMSFA website.
A lot of hard work went into today. There are lots of people to thank. As we told the final 2 teams, they will all probably be 30 or 40 years old before they recognize and truly appreciate how cool what they all got to do today was.
