The West team roster includes players selected from Meece (Somerset), Bluegrass, Bloomfield, Bowling Green, Trigg County, Lone Oak, Russellville, Corbin, Edmondson County, TK Stone, Spencer County, Glasgow, Calloway County, and Southern Pulaski.

The KYMSFA was formed to provide an organization where middle school football coaches, parents and school administrators can work together with mutual respect. The KYMSFA provides rules for the conduct of the sport, a forum for communication, offers training and educational opportunities, coordinating a championship playoff structure and other benefits requested by the membership.
