CONGRATULATIONS to all the Regional winners ! Below is hotel and broadcast information your team and parents will need concerning the State Championship on October 29th and 30th.

Playoff MVP Awards Presented at Regional Finals

ATTENTION ALL MVP AWARD WINNING PLAYERS: The MVP Awards for first and second round playoff games will be presented at the Regional Final Games on Saturday, October 22nd. The Awards will be handed out between the second and third games (at approximately 1:30 PM). Please be present to pickup your award.

Regional Final Sites are:

  • Region 1 – Murray State University
  • Region 2 – Campbellsville University
  • Region 3 – Lafayette High School
  • Region 4 – Sheldon Clark High School

WLXG 1300 AM – KYMSFA interview

WLXG 1300 AM will be interviewing KYMSFA on Tuesday, October 18th at approximately 6:20 PM. 

The KYMSFA representative will be speaking about:

  • the Kentucky Middle School Football Association,
  • how the Association got started,
  • what the Association is trying to accomplish,
  • the 2011 playoffs currently going on around the state, 
  • the upcoming 2011 Middle School State Championships to be held at Lexington Catholic High School and Lafayette High School on October 29th and 30th,
  • the 2011 East-West All-Star Game held at Kentucky State University over Thanksgiving weekend,
  • Kentucky’s involvement in the FBU National Tournament,
  • and other KYMSFA sponsored events.

2011 KYMSFA State Middle School Football Playoff Brackets

KY State 2011 Playoff Brackets as 10-09-2011 The Kentucky Middle School Football Association is pleased to announce the posting of the playoff brackets for the 2011 Kentucky Middle School Football State Championship.  The Playoff games begin on Saturday, October 15th around the Commonwealth, interim playoff games on October 18th and 19th and Regional Finals on Saturday, October 22nd (Murray State University, Campbellsville University, Sheldon Clark High School and Lafayette High School.  The semi-finals and Championship games will be held in Lexington on Saturday, October 29th (Lafayette High School and Lexington Catholic) and Sunday, October 30th (Lexington Catholic).  The KYMSFA also conducts the State Cheerleading Championship which is also held in Lexington on October 29th.  Congratulations to all members of the Association who have made the playoffs.  Good luck!
